Simple Lollipops

These lollies are ridiculously simple, starting with a base recipe like this is a great way of beginning to experiment with your favourite flavours.

Shop bought ice creams and lollies contain a concerning amount of sugar and nasty little extras so making your own is a great way of avoiding this. If you have fussy kids it might even be a way of getting some extra veggies into their diet without them noticing, try adding a portion of spinach or an avocado and see what they think!

Making your own lollies is all about getting creative and seeing what happens so we want to see what you come up with! Post us your photos on our Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or comment on our Blog

Simple Lollipops

Tropical Mango
1 ripe mango
200ml coconut milk
1tbsp honey or maple syrup

Strawberries & Cream
1 punnet of strawberries
150ml double cream
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup

Banana Choc
1 banana
200ml coconut milk
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1 tbsp cacao

1. Place your chosen flavour ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth (you can also mash everything together with a fork it just takes longer).
2. Pour carefully into your lolly moulds, placing the mould onto a tray first makes carrying them to the freezer less precarious!
3. Freeze for a minimum of 6-8  hours before serving, this is a great speedy recipe to do just after breakfast in time for that hot afternoon sun?

Hope you enjoy!
