I’m pretty sure there must be a law somewhere that states if you create an awesome cracker recipe then you have to make a pate to go with it?
We already have the very popular Mackerel Pate featured on here but I’m all about choices so I hope you find this humble and very simple recipe just as tasty!
Smoked Salmon Pate
This recipe can easily be doubled to make a larger amount for parties!
100g – 120g smoked salmon, shredded
1 beetroot, cubed
2-3 tbsp sour cream
1 tbsp horseradish
small handful of chopped parsley or dill
wedges of lemon to serve (optional)
- Mix all the ingredients gently together until combined, season with black pepper and serve with your choice of crackers. This can be kept in the fridge for 1-2 days. Serve & enjoy!
