Smoked Salmon Pate

pate mainI’m pretty sure there must be a law somewhere that states if you create an awesome cracker recipe then you have to make a pate to go with it?

We already have the very popular Mackerel Pate featured on here but I’m all about choices so I hope you find this humble and very simple recipe just as tasty!

Smoked Salmon Pate
This recipe can easily be doubled to make a larger amount for parties! 

100g – 120g smoked salmon, shredded
1 beetroot, cubed
2-3 tbsp sour cream
1 tbsp horseradish
small handful of chopped parsley or dill
wedges of lemon to serve (optional)

  1. Mix all the ingredients gently together until combined, season with black pepper and serve with your choice of crackers. This can be kept in the fridge for 1-2 days. Serve & enjoy!
